An important task for you
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of your email client. That’s the most up to date version of Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Mozilla Thunderbird and so on.
If you don’t think you’re using the latest version, you need to upgrade your software as promptly as you can.
Please note: if your email client is not up to date by 10 August 2020, you may experience disruption to your email services.
The reason for this latest change is that Heart Internet (our hosts) will soon be disabling three encryption versions on our shared email platform because they are out of date and no longer meet Heart Internet’s levels of security. These versions are: SSLv3, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.0.

Swift Image uses Heart Internet to provide web and email hosting. Following a previous article on issues that have been affecting some of Heart Internet’s mail-servers from time-to-time, they have implemented what we hope will be a solution.
For those clients that SEND their emails using a mail client (e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Mac Mai/iPhone, Android Mail) via a mailbox on Heart’s servers, you will need to take some action.
If you provide your own email hosting, or we simply forward to you webmail account, then you don’t need to worry.
For some step-by-step instructions, please visit the Heart Internet Support Page
Even if this change affects you, it will only affect sending emails. You will still receive your emails. So, if you are unsure if this relates to you, simply wait. If you find you can’t send emails, you now know that you’ll have to change the port and possibly the outgoing mailserver setting... simples! 😀
The changes began to be phased in from 1 October 2019.
